A free one day conference has been organised with Noctis working with AB-InBev, NUS and NUS Services to look at a number of the issues around the social norms of student drinking.
Taking place at Westminster Central Hall, the half day conference (9am-1pm) will bring together leading experts from the UK and USA to discuss the issue of social norms and how it can be used to help build a sensible drinking culture for students.
Entitled: Social Norms and Student Drinking: Exploring the Myths and Realities of Campus Consumption, the speakers will include Bridgette Bewick from the University of Leeds, Dr John McAuley from the University of Bradford and Jennifer Bauerle Director of the Social Norms Institute in the USA. The event will be chaired by Daniel Finkelstein from The Times.
